MDA

Description

MDA is banned under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, as a class A drug. MDA has been used recreationally since the 1960s. It is a synthetic empathogen that is closely related to MDMA, however the effects are said to be a little more psychedelic than MDMA. MDA is sometimes found in ecstasy tablets, but can also be found in a powdered form.

MDA can give people a sense of wellbeing, empathy, intimacy with others and a state of euphoria. However the negatives include jaw clenching, hyponatremia, nausea and a rather unpleasant comedown where one can feel depression and fatigue.
