Nice People Take Drugs
To reduce the hypocrisy in the way we manage drugs in society - there needs to be much greater honesty about drug use and those who use them. The stigma attached to drug use has made it almost impossible to have any form of sensible discussion. Drugs are part of society and there are much more effective ways to ensure they cause as little harm as possible.
But in order to do this, we need your help. Please donate what you can today.

Selling t-shirts at one of London's oldest markets
Posted by Nice People on Monday, 14 September 2009
Staff and volunteers from Release had an enjoyable day selling Nice People t-shirts and promoting the campaign to visitors to the Old Spitalfield market, in London's East End. One of the oldest markets in London, the diverse crowd provided an excellent opportunity to spread the campaign further and wider.

San Francisco support
Posted by nice people on Wednesday, 02 September 2009
The campaign continues to spread across the USA and we are pleased to show the best of the photos in our photo gallery. This one from San Francisco, with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in the background, certainly deserves its place on our website. We hear that the models in this photo also generated a lot of interest and had some good discussions with passers-by, which meant that even more people got to hear about the campaign.

Could you do something similar in your home-town? Contact us to find out how.
T-shirts, t-shirts, come get your NPTD t-shirt!

Due to popular demand, Release has now produced some exclusive Nice People Take Drugs t-shirts. The meaning behind the slogan - that drug use comes in all forms - is most effective when it is endorsed by all sorts of people. If we are to break through the public's preconceptions about drug use and drug users, then we need this slogan to be supported by as many people as possible.
The items are genuine top-quality American Apparel t-shirts and come in 4 different sizes and colours. We ask you to donate a minimum of £12 per t-shirt, or £10 if you are a Release member. (These t-shirts cost £13 from AA stores, and they don't even come with a cool slogan!) [If you do not live in the UK, please donate a minimum of £20 to cover postage costs, thank you]
Once you have made this donation, email us to let us know what size and colour you want.
They are available as follows:
Army green Unisex M, L, XL (sample featured above) & Ladies fit
Teal Unisex M, L, XL & Ladies fit (sample featured above)
Slate grey Unisex M, L, XL (colour sample below)
Navy blue Ladies fit only (colour sample below)

As the campaign grows, Nice People from all over the world are showing their support by wearing badges and wristbands, buying t-shirts and taking photos of themselves with the slogan.
The latest supporters to join the nice people community, are (L-R) Simona Merkinaite, Marija Subataite, Larisa Abrickaja and Shona Schonning from the Eurasian Harm Reduction Network. They took this photo of themselves outside City Hall in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Will you support us too? There are loads of ways to get involved - scroll down and read about the campaign below. Or please make a donation today.
